Hi, I’m Magnus

I deliver talks and webinars on how to implement a culture of kindness in business.

I’ve spent over 20 years working in creative agencies such as DDB, Saatchi & Saatchi and Wunderman Thompson and as a management consultant supporting world-class businesses such as Coca-Cola, Diageo, O2, Microsoft, NatWest and Unilever. I worked with some remarkable people on innovative and entrepreneurial projects that delivered real value to these businesses and customers. As I became more senior and worked at board level I came to learn that, no matter the company or the people I was working with, one thing always had a profound impact on the wellbeing, creativity, success and growth of those companies.

Kindness.

The more I saw kindness in action in corporates all over the world, the more I came to realise that kindness, and creating a culture of kindness, is an essential strategy in an increasingly uncertain world.

And kindness is a core corporate strategy. It’s not a few acts of kindness here and there. It’s not a week where you encourage everyone to be kind. It’s more than that. Kindness at work at its most effective is a deliberate strategy that is embraced and acted upon by everyone throughout the business; especially senior management who model the kind behaviour they are encouraging.

I came to care about kindness in business so much that I started a company – The Kindness Consultancy – to work with forward-thinking leaders to implement a strategy and culture of kindness for a successful and sustainable business.

We have completed the largest and most in-depth meta analysis of the proven benefits of kindness in business. We’ve analysed the academic papers, the management thinking, and the real-world examples of kindness at work. We can tell you why corporate kindness is an essential strategy in an increasingly uncertain world.

We know exactly how a culture of kindness has a profound impact on: wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, creativity, innovation, performance, profits and growth.

We have developed THE KINDNESS CODE: Seven Keys to Unlocking a Kindness Revolution in Business. We can tell you how to make kindness work for you.
